AeroAntenna’s Marine products are designed for easy and useful marine installation. These antennas are ruggedly constructed and hermetically sealed to withstand harsh nautical environments. Their internal circuitry, which is similar to that of the Aviation Antenna, provides enhanced protection of the antennas and GPS receivers against lightning and electromagnetic activity, which occur during storms.

Several styles and types of antennas are available for the Marine application, including L1 only and/or L1/L2 for increased position accuracy. Mounting configurations which include mast or pole-type installations are available.

If your requirement includes increased immunity to multipath reception of GPS signals, choke rings are available that can be roof- or mast-mounted. The choke ring version comes with a tapered weather shield including an anti-bird roost spike.

The AT1621-162 is a combination Iridium & GPS antenna and is designed to work primarily for marine applications and other harsh environments. The antenna has a pipe thread mount that that enables it to be securely mounted without the connectors being exposed to the environment. The antenna is fitted with SMA female connectors for both the GPS and Iridium connections and will work with all major brands of Iridium / GPS based devices.
