This Internet of Things (IoT) LoRaWAN Outdoor MICRO Access Point/Gateway is specifically designed for durability and performance in harsh environments.

 

Applications include, but not limited to automatic meter reading, monitoring fault indicators, smart street lights, smart parking, smart waste collection, tracking devices, environmental monitoring, etc.

The LoRaWAN technology is designed to connect low-cost, battery-operated sensors over long distances in harsh environments that were previously too challenging or cost-prohibitive to connect. Because of its long range, high penetration, high sensitivity capabilities and its ability to connect many end-devices, it is a much more cost-effective way for service providers to deploy LoRaWAN network for sensor applications in vertical market domains than any other methods (e.g. cellular, short-range standards, etc’).

Typical deployment is using star network configuration similar to mobile network base stations. This product can be uniquely configured also as a ‘last mile repeater’ to solve sensor connectivity issues when sensors are located on the edge of the coverage or out of it. It also provides a cost-effective way to provide full redundancy coverage for the entire service area (local and up to nation-wide). The gateway supports internet connection through WiFi, Ethernet and optional Cellular. It incorporates a GPS receiver and a complete GPS antennas kit as well as a unit mounting kit.

WSMS-122X321IS – Vehicle Tracker

The Vehicle Tracker is designed for tracking vehicles and for theft prevention. It communicates with the IoT AP/Gateway using a LoRaWAN protocol standard for long range wide area (LPWAN) deployments.

The tracker is equipped with GPS, 3-axis accelerometer and temperature sensor.

The Vehicle Tracker sends real time location and alerts to the data center. A perimeter (geo-fencing) can be set for triggering an alert each time the tracker is outside of the designated area.  

Various alerts can be generated for different scenarios, such as: low battery, battery disconnection, state of the vehicle (stationary / in motion), etc’
